This is what people who use INR Online say ...

I have found the self-testing easy to carry out and it has been particularly helpful for me because I frequently visit my family in Mount Eden and Devonport in Auckland, … and I holiday at Lake Taupo so prior to self-testing I was frequently faced with the inconvenience of having to go looking for a Laboratory if I was away from home.

I have found the self testing unit extremely satisfactory, not only do you not have to wait (for a half hour or so, at times) at the laboratory, but you are aware of what your INR levels are.

It's fantastic. I can only give blood from the left arm. Constant taking of blood had scarred the vein. This period of using the finger has given my arm the chance to heal. This trial has been through the winter and it's been so good not having to go out in the cold for up to 2 hours to have the test done. The convenience of doing it at home is wonderful.

The CoaguChek® system … has made life so simple for this lifetime Warfarin User. The “INR Online” web site is user friendly and the prompts are so clear, even I can follow them. The chance to test yourself [when and where you like] is a huge bonus, and must free up the Lab staff for “other duties”. After 10 months use, I have become to rely heavily on the Outlook reminders that pop up from 2 days prior to a test to keep me informed.

I have found the system very good overall, especially as it has allowed me to continue testing while I have been away in Australia, or away from home but elsewhere in NZ. Once accustomed to it, I have found it to be very user friendly, and certainly convenient.

Being a working mother and a paraplegic, finding time to get to a diagnostic laboratory, with the additional hassle of suitable parking and lugging a wheelchair in and out of the car, is a huge nuisance. So, being on the warfarin self-testing process is wonderful—it's quick and easy to do, and can be done at a time that is convenient for me. It's a ten minute job instead of a 1/2 hour plus. It is also great to have a finger-prick test instead of a needle in my arm vein, where I would need to wait afterwards before self-propelling my chair to avoid bleeding.

I have found the CoaguChek® /INR Online combination to be absolutely wonderful. My arms are not sore anymore, I enjoy the ease of being able to do the tests from home, and I find it quick, painless and easy to use. It was also handy when I went on a recent trip overseas; I could check my INR before I flew and while I was away. It's so convenient.

I have found this system to be extremely beneficial as I have been able to do the testing conveniently at home. Previously, getting tested at the lab was becoming very difficult as I have to ensure that I get to the lab to suit work commitments and children's schedules. Also as I live in a town without a lab, it means travelling to either Levin or Palmerston North.

The process is so much more convenient - I sent my tests to you from U S A when I was there recently and there were no problems but the most convenient thing of all is the time saved by my being able to do the test at home.
